Unfortunately, a few months ago (to be more precise, on May 5th) he died unexpectedly at only fifty-seven. Namely, the police were called to his apartment in Atlanta and were told that a particular individual was injured.

The first responders were trying to perform CPR on Kevin Samuels, however, since he was experiencing constant chest pains, he was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he sadly passed away. As stated in the beginning, Kevin Samuels has been one of the most popular YouTubers in the world, with more than one million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Some of his most viewed videos include, "Ladies, the older you get, the less you get", "Do modern women want more than they deserve?" and many others.

Besides YouTube, he was also very popular on other social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Even though he has been active (on social media) for many years, the first video that truly went viral was the one he made back in 2020, titled "You are average at best."

Even though he was anything but smooth in this video, it still had millions of views. It was more than obvious that his critique and directness were appealing to the audience.

Controversy Surrounding His Death

Since Samuels died unexpectedly, many people were confused about what really occurred on the day of his passing. Surprisingly, one of the biggest suspects, in this case, was Ortensia Alcantara.

But what do we know about this woman? Namely, Ortensia Alcantara is a nurse who was with Kevin and who reported his death as well. Many believed that she was responsible for his death and that she was also his lover.

According to Alcantara, both of these accusations are false. Since she was getting tired of being accused of a crime she didn't commit, she decided to hire an attorney to ensure that the rumors that were spreading about her like crazy are removed from the internet.

Neither the police nor the media, do not have too much information regarding the days prior to Kevin's passing. The only thing that's known is the fact that Ortencia spent the weekend with him and that on the day of his passing, he was frequently complaining of chest pains.

She did everything she could to save his life, but unfortunately, failed and Samuels was soon pronounced dead.

His Opinions And Statements Were Often Criticized

As previously mentioned, Kevin Samuel's videos weren't easy to "digest" because, oftentimes, he was very harsh in his statements. That's one of the main reasons why a lot of people weren't too fond of him.

And that was especially the case when he talked about black women and dating. Back then, he stated that women over the age of thirty-five are nothing but leftovers which outraged the public. And then, in one of his latest videos posted on Instagram, titled "Modern Women Are A Party Of 1?", Kevin was pretty cruel to educated women who do not want to settle in a relationship.

Furthermore, in this video he asks things like "Why are so many modern women holding out?" and then concludes that if women continue to behave like that, they will end up alone.

Feud With Dr. Umar Johnson

According to numerous sources, Dr. Umar Johnson wasn't the biggest fan of the famous YouTuber. In fact, he was oftentimes disgusted by the misogynistic attitude he expressed toward black women.

Johnson even once stated that Samuel is earning big bucks from "slandering and criticizing black women who deviate from what he considers the Eurocentric standards of beauty and success."

But then Kevin Samuels questioned the morals of Dr. Umar Johnson who wanted to launch his school with the cash he received from his fans. Plus, he also accentuated the fact that Dr. Johnson had two kids from two women whom he never married.

Before he rose to fame and got millions of views on his videos as a dating coach, Samuels first launched his YouTube channel for something entirely different: fashion advice. Namely, six years ago, he established Life & Style by Kevin Samuels and was working as an image consultant because he wanted to help his clients feel and look their best.

He frequently reminded them how essential it is to look good because only then, they'll be able to create a great impression. Moreover, he was prone to utilizing the acronym "B.I.T.Z." which encompassed his ultimate goal for the clients he worked with – "being in their zone".

And the question is, how has he decided to become a fashion guru? Back in the day, when he was working on a PR project for an advocate, he stated that he helped her select the pieces of clothing and accessories she wore.
