Is there any place on earth that is as well-known for celebrity controversies as Las Vegas? Vegas is known as Sin City for a reason, let's face it. Due to the famous clients it draws to its casinos, nightclubs, and other entertainment facilities, this reputation is rightfully deserved. Which scandals, though, have made the gambling capital famous?

    Ben Affleck Gets Banned

Ben Affleck takes his gaming seriously. Affleck was permanently barred from the Hard Rock Casino in 2014 for allegedly trying to cheat at blackjack by counting cards. Although Affleck acknowledged adopting the trick, he maintains that it was a talent he gained, he didn't intend to cheat. Maybe he should have tried his hand at online gaming, then this situation wouldn't take place. Pennsylvania-based iGamingPA could definitely help you choose the safest online casino out there.

    Prince Harry's Adventures

Prince Harry has always been known for his sense of humor. The Royal was all about having fun before getting married to Meghan Markle and having children. So, as one might anticipate, he went to Las Vegas in 2012. According to rumors, the Prince and his companions leased a VIP bungalow and had a wild time. And at one point, he was seen drinking at a Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand while wearing nothing but a necklace.

    Mike Tyson's Ear-Biting Antics

In addition to having some fantastic casinos, nightclubs, restaurants, and the like, Las Vegas is also widely known for organizing boxing matches. And in 1997, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield engaged in a legendary heavyweight fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Iron Mike's decision to remove a small portion of Holyfield's ear, however, caused controversy to surround the fight between the two sporting icons. The fight was abruptly stopped as a consequence, and Tyson had his boxing license suspended along with a large fine.

    Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish, a player for Manchester City and England's national soccer team most recently made headlines for the time he spent in Vegas. The midfielder, who reportedly got paid £100 million to join Manchester City last summer, was photographed staggering out of a nightclub in the early morning hours after spending the previous evening drinking with his international teammate Declan Rice and several attractive ladies. This came after a day spent by the pool sipping cocktails. However, by Las Vegas standards, all of this was rather subdued.

    Britney's Record-Breaking Marriage

Pop star Britney Spears and her childhood friend-turned-boyfriend Jason Allen Alexander were among the celebs that got married in Vegas in 2004. Jason claimed that the singer, who was 20 at the time, just came to him and offered to get married, to which he agreed.

However, 55 hours after saying "I do," Britney's family and representatives allegedly "went wild" and filed for an annulment. According to Jason, they were upset because there was no prenup. Britney's team later claimed in a legal document that the singer lacked knowledge of her conduct, to the point that she was incapable of agreeing to the marriage.

    Vegas Never Sleeps

Las Vegas has a ton to offer, including casinos, hotels, shows, bars, fine dining, shopping, strip clubs, and more, but since the rich and famous frequently visit Sin City, it's typically the controversies that keep it in the public eye. And who doesn't like a good scandal? Everyone, we assume, except the parties involved.
